Terms & Conditions
1. Yoga class policy
1.1. New yoga customers
In order to book yoga classes, new customers need to create a website account, using their active email address and a strong password.
Â
By booking onto any yoga classes, you accept the responsibility for any injuries or accidents that might occur during the class delivery, unless these are due to any negligence on the side of the teacher. If you have any serious medical conditions or any existing injuries, it is your responsibility to inform the teacher, but it remains your responsibility to listen to your body and to take any pose only as far as feels comfortable to you. Our teachers are not medical professionals and are not responsible for any damage or injuries that can occur whilst performing certain poses.
 Â
Please arrive at least 10 mins before the start of the class. Place your belongings in the designated area upon arrival and find a comfortable place to sit on a yoga mat.Â
Â
Complementary mats, blocks, and straps are available for all paying customers for the duration of the class, but you are welcome to also bring your own props if you like. When using any supplied yoga props, please treat them with care. In the case of deliberate damage or loss of props you will be asked to cover the losses incurred.

1.2. Clothes, hygiene & safety
All customers are requested to wear clothes that are appropriate for the session they are attending. Wear comfortable yoga or gym clothes. In winter, you might like to bring a hoodie, as the studio might be a bit cooler.
Â
Any yoga classes in the studio can be practiced in bare feet or with socks.
Â
If you have any contagious foot complaints, please make sure you are wearing socks at all times.

1.3. Yoga Teacher Qualification
Dave Schönthal is fully qualified and accredited by the Yoga Alliance International with a 200 Hour Teacher Training qualification and has his own personal liability insurance.Â

1.4. Yoga class bookings and class passes
You can either pay for a single class upon booking, or you can purchase a multi-class pack (5-classes and 10-classes). The multi-class packs will expire in 6 months after the purchase date. After the 6-month period, any remaining classes on the multi-class pack will be removed from your account.
Â
It is the responsibility of the customer to book onto classes in order to complete any multi-class pass they may have purchased. Dave Schönthal cannot be held liable for any missed classes due to the failure of a member to book, or due to classes being fully booked by other customers.

If you wish to attend a yoga class with Dave Schönthal at Chater Arts Centre, you must book onto that class via the online booking system provided on this website. Bookings must be made in advance of the class, and bookings will close 15 minutes before the beginning of the class.
Â
Dave Schönthal does not offer any refunds on any classes already delivered. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Â
Customers can change or cancel a yoga class up to 24hrs before the start of the class. If the class was missed and not cancelled before 24hrs the class pass will beÂ
lost and not refunded. The expiry dates for the multi-class passes cannot be extended.
Â
If Dave Schönthal has to cancel a class, you will be offered a refund or your booking can be transferred onto a future class.
